My name is Ben, and I am an aspiring musical artist with a huge passion for singing, songwriting, recording, performing, producing, and connecting people from all different walks of life through music. I love many different kinds of music, but my biggest musical inspirations are Michael Jackson, Aerosmith, Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, The Weeknd, Coldplay, and many more artists. I hope to record, create, collaborate, and perform all over the world. My first EP demo Up, Up, Up was released in November 2016, and my new debut LP album Benevolnce will be released in July 2019.

Throughout my childhood, I have always expressed a timid and shy nature. By constantly second-guessing myself and overanalyzing everything I did and said, I would be overcome with anxiety and tend to keep my thoughts and feelings to myself. With music, I could properly transfer my indecision, my fear, and my insecurity into art, rhythm, and dance. I began to participate in talent shows, dance at parties, and write music. I started recording whenever and wherever I could at home, including closets, garages, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and my car. It was the perfect release and form of expression for me. Nowadays, I still tend to overthink and overanalyze to the point of anxiety, but with music, I can channel this energy into harmony in order bring passion and life to others. This is one of the many ways in which music brings us together.

My music helps me to connect with the world in ways that I otherwise am not familiar with. Music is how I express joy, sorrow, anxiety, excitement, depression, love, anger, hope, and passion. My debut album represents who I am, what I am about, what I hope to do with my music for the world, how I feel, and how my mind works. There are things I say in this album that I would not be able to properly express into the oral or written manner of communication. I do this through many tracks of harmony, engaging rhythm, powerful instruments and sounds, and relatable melodies.

This debut album does not fully express who I am, however, it describes many aspects of myself that I feel I cannot truly share with the world through any other manner. I have many things to say and emotions to evoke, and this was the best way in which I knew how to do this. I hope to inspire people all around the world and bring listeners from all different backgrounds together, breaking down any barriers that stand between one another. Music is the one language that transcends all barriers. My ultimate goal is to connect listeners and change the world for the better, one note at a time. I firmly believe that one song makes all the difference in healing the world and creating a better place for all of us.
